A Welcome Message from the Executive Director
Welcome to the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT). The size and diversity of the facility makes it unlike any other conference center that you may consider. From onsite computer labs to a five hundred seat dining room; CCMIT has the right mix of staff, equipment, and space to meet your needs.
Our secure, eighty acre campus was originally developed as one of the leading training and simulation centers for professional mariners. The Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) has been in continuous operation for over thirty years.
For nearly the same length of time, CCMIT has been offering the facility to other organizations for their training and conference needs. Today, it is one of the largest conference centers in the Baltimore - Washington area. As a member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), you can be assured that your guests will enjoy the same high-quality service and accommodations that are expected by meeting professionals.
