Facility Location
The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT) campus encompasses over 80-acres. The rolling grounds are tree-lined with ample room for jogging, walking, and other outside activities. This countryside setting is strategically located within the Baltimore - Washington corridor. In fact, the campus is less than five miles from the Baltimore - Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, the BWI Amtrak Station, and Interstate-95. The campus is also near many major tourist destinations; such as Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, DC.
Shuttle Service
CCMIT offers a free shuttle service to/from the Baltimore - Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, the BWI Amtrak Station, and the BWI Light Rail Station. Upon arrival at these locations, please contact CCMIT's experienced front desk staff members at (410) 859-5700, extension “0,” to make transportation arrangements.
Taxi Service
For students and guests that would prefer to use a taxi service, CCMIT's campus is less than five miles from the Baltimore - Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport, the BWI Amtrak Station, and the BWI Light Rail Station. Please note that CCMIT's Hammonds Ferry Road entrance is typically closed from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM. For safety reasons, this entrance is also closed during inclement weather conditions. During these times, please advise the taxi driver to use our alternate entrance, which can be accessed off of West Nursery Road.
