Renovations and Upgrades
The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT) continually improves the facility and grounds. In fact, CCMIT invests over $1,000,000 annually in ongoing renovations and upgrades. The goal is to have the most productive meeting spaces and conference facilities available for your event. The combination of conference center and hotel accommodations provides for convenience and comfort. The latest improvements at CCMIT's Conference Center Hotel include the following:
- Guestroom bedding: New mattresses, pillows, linen and duvet covers.
- Internet capacity: Expanded our internet capacity to 20MB data and increased our wireless connections.
- Covered walkway: Installed a covered walkway connecting the conference center and the hotel buildings.
- New entrance: Created a new covered entrance to the Conference Center in Building #3
- Handicap Improvements: Installed a chair lift and new bathroom facilities in the lower level of the Conference Center.
